Khulna Medical College (KMC) is a renowned medical institution in Bangladesh, established in 1990. It is located in the city of Khulna, near the Khulna inter-district Bus Stand. The college is associated with the Khulna Medical College and Hospital, also known as the "250 bed hospital." Despite being relatively new, KMC has achieved great success in medical education.

Before 1989, the hospital was known as the 250 bed Hospital. The idea to establish a medical college was conceived, leading to the birth of KMC. Initially, the college had only a few students and limited infrastructure, but it gradually expanded to provide training to undergraduate students and offer PGT (Post Graduate Training) programs in the hospital. Over time, various educational, research, and residential facilities were developed.

Khulna Medical College is affiliated with Rajshahi University, along with nine other government and private medical colleges under the same university. Upon completion of the fifth year and passing the final Professional MBBS examination, students receive an MBBS degree from Rajshahi University. The college is directly governed by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), which is affiliated with the Ministry of Health. Professional examinations are conducted by the university, and results are provided accordingly. Internal examinations, such as card completions, term end assessments, and regular assessments, are also conducted at regular intervals.

The college has well-equipped buildings for training and education. There is an academic building adjacent to the hospital building, which houses administrative and academic sections. All departments, including offices, students' sections, the Principal's office, and other offices, are located there. The college also has classrooms, galleries, a library, and an audio-visual unit for educational purposes. There are four large galleries for combined classes and six hostels for students, including two boys' hostels, one girls' hostel, and three hostels for internee doctors. The girls' hostel and one of the boys' hostels are four-storied. Staff and officers of both the college and hospital also have quarters within the campus.
